What is the Sugar House Farmers Market?

Since the first farmers market in 2010, the Sugar House Farmers Market has been a summer destination to showcase local farmers, vendors and purveyors of Salt Lake City and it’s surrounding neighbors. As a nonprofit farmers market, we greatly appreciate the support of our local community and sponsors.

When is the Sugar House Farmers Market?

In 2021, the Market takes place on Sunday mornings in August.

Where is the Sugar House Farmers Market?

Fairmont Park in Sugar House. New for 2021: we’ll be located along 900 East.

Does the Market accept debit and credit cards?

Each vendor may differ, please inquire when making purchases.

How do I become a vendor at the market?

First, check out the Rules and Guidelines document available on our website. If you fulfill these requirements, fill out the online application by the stated due date. Acceptance of an application does not guarantee participation as a vendor.

Can I be one of the musical performers at the market?

We are always looking for great, local musicians to perform at the market. It’s a great opportunity to reach a large audience and a great time for all! If you are interested in performing at the Market, email our market manager at market@sugarhousefarmersmarket.org

Can I volunteer at the market?

Absolutely! We have lots of volunteer opportunities both on the day of the Market and behind the scenes during the rest of the week. How is the Market supported?

The Sugar House Farmers Market Boards of Directors seeks to encourage small farmers and agricultural producers to participate in the market by keeping participation fees as low as possible. These fees are supplemented by additional support from sponsorships, the sale of advertising and promotional opportunities, grants, donations, and community fund raising efforts.
